简　　介

　　约翰（弗雷德·阿斯泰尔 Fred Astaire 饰）是一位极富才华的舞蹈家，歌手卡德（维克托·摩尔 Victor Moore 饰）是约翰最好的朋友兼同伴，两人之间的友谊很是深厚。约翰一心想要迎娶自己的青梅竹马玛格丽特（Betty Furness 饰），但卡德却并不看好这桩亲事。为了搅黄约翰的婚礼，卡德找到了各类捏词迟延时辰，致使约翰终极错过了成婚仪式。愤慨玛格丽特和父亲要求约翰拿来两万五千美圆，方可获得他们的体谅，没法之下约翰只得踏上了筹钱的旅途。
约翰和卡德来到了纽约，在一场意外中重逢了名为佩妮（金格尔·罗杰斯 Ginger Rogers 饰）的女子。一番挫折今后，约翰发现佩妮是一位舞蹈教练，不单如此，两人的节奏亦很是合拍，因此决议组成同伴。
