◎简　　介　
　　里昂（让·雷诺饰）是名孤独的职业杀手，受人雇佣。一天，邻人家小姑娘马蒂尔达（纳塔丽·波特曼饰)敲开他的房门，要求在他那边暂避杀身之祸。本来邻人家的仆人是警方缉毒组的眼线，只因受贿了一小包而遭恶警（加里·奥德曼饰）杀戮百口的赏罚。马蒂尔达获得里昂的留救，幸免于难，并留在里昂那边。里昂教小女孩使枪，她教里昂法文，两人关系日益密切，相处和谐。
　　女孩想着去报仇，反倒被抓，里昂实时赶到，将女孩救回。混杂着哀怨情仇的正邪之战渐次升级，更大的抵触在所难免……

　　《这个杀手不太冷》，是法国名导吕克·贝松在好莱坞执导的第一部作品。虽然影片遵照着支流好莱坞贸易片的制片标准和代价标准，但非同一般的剧情、人物的出色表演（出格是加里·奥德曼杀人的场景，在音乐的配合下氛围衬着的很突出）及出色的配乐使得其又富有法国艺术片的一面，成为九十年月行动片的典范之作，也影响了后来很多作品。本片也是好莱坞玉女娜塔丽·波特曼的银幕童贞作。
